who was the best boss you ever had?

Probably Mizzle, my boss from my senior year of High School… He wasn’t ‘bossy’ and he was really fun to have as a yearbook sponsor and he understood good design. If it weren’t from this one little comment he made one time, I probably wouldn’t have ever actually thought about doing photography in school or even end up at the university i am at now. Dont really think he has any idea how much he influenced my my senior year of High School lol

What is your favorite book?

This might sound like such a generic reply, but i LOVE Pride & Prejudice… I mean its one of the greatest books ever written, but I really do love it. From time to time I pick it up and re-read a few random sections- I never get tired of it. yes, I have seen the movie and no, I didn’t read the book after seeing it. I think the first time I read it I was about 15..

When it comes to movies made from books I have read, I have learned to see them as other versions of the story- someone else’s retelling, that sorta thing. This movie (the 2005 one I think- with Keira K) was actually pretty good- but not NEARLY as good as the book was..
and I have to say, there will never be a better Mr. Darcy than Colin Firth.

Oh, I Love ‘the Adventures of Huckleberry FInn’ too… Been reading it almost yearly since I was like 9 (pretty sure I started out with an abridged version LOL).. and after writing a lot about it in High School I realized how important it is while thinking America in the post-civil was reconstruction era, although it takes place before the war.

and OMG- I cant believe I didn’t think of this book first!
The Count of Monte Cristo- I LOVE that book! I had this old raggety copy that I read all the time… not only are so many interesting statements in that book to think about but it is also just an exciting read… ]

I really love classic books.. I know I should spend some time reading more contemporary stuff (which I sorrrta do- I have my favorite contemporary writers too..) but when it comes to great story-telling, dead people just seem to do it better for me.

and omg, I cant believe how much time I have spent writing this. WHAT. A. NERD.

Where’s your favorite place to buy clothes?

cant believe I am so bored that I am asking myself random questions…

I love shopping at Urban Outfitters, (even though the whole ‘Urban Counterfeiters’ thing bothers me..) - it can get expensive though.. and as ‘mnstrm’ as this sounds, I love JC Penny’s for their variety and their sales.
gotta be a smart shopper, yo! =)
